The Consulate General of India in Houston has announced the introduction of the e-OCI facility, enabling OCI Cardholders to generate and store a digital version of their OCI Card on their mobile devices. From July 8, 2026, only digital e-OCI cards will be issued to all new OCI applicants, enhancing document accessibility for travel.
